Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join our team at Expedia Group, Inc.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the Senior Finance Manager of Commercial Programs in understanding the financial impact of commercial programs and operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Create and maintain financial models to support business casing and performance analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the Credit Management Reporting team to develop and enhance financial reports, ensuring clear and actionable insights are presented to leadership.
- Data Analysis: Extract insights from raw data, identifying trends, variances, and effectively communicate these findings through decks and ad-hoc reports.
- Performance Pack Development: Assist in the development of monthly performance packs for leadership, ensuring data is presented in a clear, concise, and executive-friendly format.
- Ad Hoc Finance Support: Provide ad hoc finance support as and when required.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 1+ years prior experience within a finance function.
- Strong modelling skills with the ability to analyse raw data and convert into useful insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail & comfort in being a subject matter expert.
- Ability to present data & insights in a visually compelling format to finance and non-finance audiences.
- Highly organized with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple workstreams across multiple time zones.
- Expert Excel and spreadsheet skills including the ability to work with large data sets.
- Knowledge of BI tools and data extraction via SQL will be highly beneficial.
