Linux Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Coordinator to join our team at Esml Sd Iberia Holding S A U. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure effective systems integration and compliance with agreements.
- Planning and Design: Help plan the strategic Linux department infrastructure, develop system architectures that meet business requirements, and manage costs.
- Implementation and Deployment: Drive the implementation and maintenance of systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.
- Administration and Maintenance: Supervise the daily work of the Linux team, ensure security updates and patches are applied regularly, and maintain system documentation.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, create a capacity plan to avoid future problems, and optimize system resources.
- Security: Implement and maintain security policies to protect systems and data.
- Specific Knowledge: Solid experience in Linux system administration, storage, and basic applications, strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, budget execution and control, leadership skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Know-how: In-depth knowledge of networking and related protocols, expertise in task automation, knowledge in web servers and services, virtualization and containerization, and understanding of security best practices.
