Job Title: Systems Development Engineer

Amazon is seeking an experienced Systems Development Engineer to support the design and development of test systems for avionics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, systems engineering, and test automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support verification and validation for requirements and system design
  • Create software packages to test avionics hardware, including monitoring current, sensor inputs, and pass/fail criteria
  • Develop systems engineering artifacts, including design documentation, interface control documents, and requirements
  • Perform subsystem integration work, including testing component level and architectural systems requirements
  • Conduct static, dynamic, modal structural, and thermal analysis as needed to support component verification
Requirements:
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language, such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.) with Systems Development Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with test systems, testing complete hardware packages, and writing test software packages
