Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Contracts Specialist to join our EMEA Site Agreements team at Fortrea. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and executing site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts for our pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and negotiate site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts with sponsors and other contracting parties.
  • Assist in the execution and retention of site agreements, ensuring timely updates to our contract tracking system.
  • Identify and escalate issues that require attention from line management.
  • Confirm the quality of tasks delegated to and completed by Contracts Associates.
  • Manage assigned studies, ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures, and Sponsor requirements.
  • Perform contract administration functions, including obtaining approvals, maintaining contract tracking systems, and providing notice of executed contracts.
  • Support line management with departmental goals, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Provide regular status updates on open contracts and outstanding issues.
  • Draft, negotiate, review, and process contracts in a commercially reasonable manner, protecting Fortrea's interests.
  • Negotiate contractual terms with other contracting parties in a professional manner.
  • Apply knowledge of ICH GCP principles to work and follow quality standard procedures.
Requirements
  • Work experience in clinical research, including a strong working knowledge of ICH guidelines and FDA, IRB/IEC regulations.
  • Minimum years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job.
  • University/College degree.
  • Fluent in local language and English.
