We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Risk Control Analyst to become a vital part of our Finance Risk Control Team within the Financial Accounting Division.

This team's primary objective is to guarantee the effective execution of regulatory controls and adherence to the standards established by ING Group, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Risk Control Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Actively promoting a culture of risk awareness within the finance department and throughout the organization.
  • Ensuring the comprehensive application of the Risk and Control framework methodology, including Risk Impact Assessments (RIAs), Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), process walkthroughs, narratives, and process flow diagrams.
  • Developing and implementing robust processes and procedures to effectively monitor and manage risks and controls.
  • Establishing and/or adopting standards to maintain the quality of controls and documentation.
  • Assisting in the identification, evaluation, and response to emerging risks by utilizing appropriate tools and resources, while actively participating in business initiatives.
  • Assessing and challenging root causes and mitigation strategies.
  • Interpreting and implementing management standards and policies.
  • Overseeing and supporting the effective application of the Internal Control framework.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
