About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Administrator to join our team at Flight Centre Travel Group. As a key member of our Salesforce team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our business stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of our Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align business processes with Salesforce best practices and ensure solutions deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions using the full Salesforce toolset.
  • Assist with translating functional business requirements to technical design focused on enabling the business and support creation of User Stories within a Product Backlog.
  • Identify and address technical debt, ensuring the Salesforce platform is optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Provide escalated technical user support, particularly post-deployment, and assist with troubleshooting and data requests.
  • Design, configure, and develop solutions using declarative first approach, ensuring alignment with requirements and existing security and structure.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to review business process and optimization of current solutions.
  • Review, manage, and regression test Salesforce releases, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Assist with testing and QA, including peer review and support for UAT process.
  • Support deployment process by working within sandbox environments and moving components through environments.
  • Collaborate with developers to provide direction on advanced solutions and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for technical design, case/ticket notes, and lessons learned.
  • Communicate and update project status for tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, preferably in an administration role.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator or higher.
  • Experience with Lightning UI and training/supporting non-technical staff in Salesforce usage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as troubleshooting expertise.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and escalate issues as required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including Process Builder, Formula fields, and Validation rules.
  • Experience working with Agile development teams using SCRUM.
  • Strong ability to develop and support Salesforce analytics, including complex reporting and dashboards.
  • Demonstrates constructive conflict resolution skills to ensure a positive outcome for all involved.
