Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Field Engineer Trainee to join our team. As a Technical Field Engineer Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals across the national territory.
  • Learn and develop skills in preparing and presenting product presentations.
  • Support the sales team in various aspects of their work.
  • Analyze competitor devices and maintain marketing databases.
  • Perform training on the use of new products.
  • Ensure adherence to Abbott Medical Quality Procedures.
  • Provide market information to the sales department.
  • Produce monthly reports of personal activities.
  • Train Field Service Engineers, customers, and colleagues on local and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and act as a company ambassador.
  • Prepare items needed for neuromodulation implants.
  • Learn and develop skills in attending cases and behavior in the operation room.
  • Follow up with patients and learn how to program.
  • Gain knowledge in neuromodulation basics, including physiopathology, indications, and techniques.
  • Learn how to work in a corporate organization.
Requirements
  • Relevant product knowledge.
  • Knowledge in biological, medical, and physics sciences (electricity).
  • Familiarity with patient follow-up.
  • Capable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system and necessary correspondence and spreadsheets.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical/Paramedical certification (e.g., bioengineer, nursing) or relevant industry healthcare experience.
  • English: High level - C1.
  • Mandatory to make an agreement with a university or school.
