Yacht Mechanic Job Description

Xelvin Zuid B.V. is seeking a skilled Yacht Mechanic to join our team in Heeg. As a Yacht Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing and assembling various components on yachts, including Volvo Penta engines, generators, hydraulic pumps, and IPS systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and assemble components on yachts, such as engines, generators, and hydraulic pumps
  • Work with electrical teams to install and connect electronic panels
  • Keep track of changes in working drawings and schematics
  • Collaborate with the new construction team to achieve the best possible result
Requirements:
  • Completed education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Maritime Engineering at MBO level
  • Experience in a technical role, preferably in the automotive or yacht-building industry
  • Ability to work independently and neatly
  • Technical insight and motivation to get the best out of yourself
