We are seeking an experienced Senior VAT Compliance Manager to join our European VAT Compliance & Controllership team in Bratislava. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a number of direct reports supporting worldwide data sharing activities in 3P Compliance area.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, hire and develop direct reports to ensure the success of our 3P Compliance initiatives.
- Manage and control access of 3P sellers to Amazon marketplaces based on VAT compliance status and requests from tax authorities.
- Own and lead 3P Compliance initiatives, working closely with various business stakeholders to provide reporting metrics to senior leadership.
- Provide transactional and other data to tax authorities in respect of 3P sellers, and assist with VAT registrations across various jurisdictions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department.
- Preferred qualifications include experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex).
