About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team at Babel Profiles S.L. as a key player in shaping the digital luxury experience for our clients, including the renowned Porsche brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain applications and infrastructure to ensure a seamless digital journey for customers.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and security teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure scalability.
  • Empower product teams to deliver applications quickly, securely, and independently by building and managing delivery services within the website ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement web interfaces, backend services, and APIs, seamlessly integrating with existing services and extending the capabilities of the company ecosystem.
  • Adhere to DevOps principles and continuously deploy software to test and production environments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native development, with expertise in building resilient AWS applications using ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong grasp of software security standards, threat assessment, and secure programming methodologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a passion for automated testing and TDD.
  • Experience with API management systems, API design, and RESTful services.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Terraform CDK.
  • Adept at facilitating CI/CD pipelines and monitoring and alerting tools like NewRelic and Splunk.
  • Strong understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle principles.
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on delivering value to customers.
