**About the Role**

Importante empresa, a leading translation agency, is seeking a part-time freelance Subject Matter Expert in Accounting to support our Linguistic Quality Assurance team.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced accountant to review Spanish translations in context within our client's software products, ensuring accuracy, logic, and understandability for the accounting target audience.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide detailed feedback on parts requiring revisions or amendments.
  • Collaborate with a system expert to implement changes.

**Requirements:**

  • Certification: ECA (Experto Contable Acreditado) - CPA equivalent
  • Based in Spain
  • Strong working proficiency in English
  • Experience in working with accounting software
  • Previous linguistic experience is a plus (proofreading, translation, quality assurance)

**Commitment:**

Initial review of 10 hours over a week, with an ongoing commitment of up to one hour per week.
