Medical Science Liaison - Biologics

Job Description:

Galderma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison - Biologics to join our team. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a scientific engagement plan with key opinion leaders in your region to provide comprehensive medical and scientific education to external stakeholders relevant to Galderma's initiatives and areas of interest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a network of key opinion leaders in the field and maintain ongoing professional relationships to gather insights that provide medical and scientific support for Galderma's medicines and areas of interest.
  • Provide scientific and technical support for field-based sales force, behaving as a credible partner to support their immediate needs through non-promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement.
  • Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • As appropriate and needed, produce, review, and update scientific internally approved presentations and assets for assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the Dermatology field.
  • Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
Requirements:
  • Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification (e.g., MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field.
  • Demonstrated experience in dermatology and/or biologics.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, particularly in a customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels, including to key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented (matrix) environment and partner with different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and of regulatory processes.
  • Working knowledge of the Social Security in Spain, including the ability to understand clinical priorities and how processes work within this system.
  • Frequent travel will be required.
