New Relic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Principal Product Manager to lead the development of a new product area focused on engineering teams and their supporting organizations. This is a unique opportunity to build a new product area from scratch and drive product discovery, strategy, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of engineering teams' needs and pain points
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy and execution
  • Facilitate hard tradeoffs between time-to-market and building integrated, cohesive experiences
  • Define and ship software infrastructure products to market
  • Understand and develop empathy for infrastructure operator personas
  • Stay up-to-date with the competitive landscape and traditional host and cloud infrastructure
  • Empathize with developers and the reasons people are moving to the cloud and DevOps
  • Understand business strategy, constraints, and planning

Requirements

  • + years of software product management experience in defining and shipping software infrastructure products
  • Strong product design sense and experience in building delightful experiences
  • Technical savvy and ability to facilitate hard tradeoffs
  • Curiosity and understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Understanding of traditional host and cloud infrastructure and monitoring needs
