Job Summary

Colt Technology Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Supply Chain Operations team. As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing, planning, executing, controlling, and overseeing supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure accurate stock control and fulfillment to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Logistics Management: Manage logistics services sourcing activities and maintain operational and financial relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize storage and transport of inventory across Colt Technology Services, including non-European locations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop operational inventory management models with third-party logistics providers and local operational teams to support efficient equipment delivery.
  • Inventory Recovery: Manage the operational delivery of inventory into the Investment Recovery Process for revenue partners.
  • Accounting and Control: Ensure accurate accounting and control processes are maintained and audited regularly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and manage key stakeholder and supplier relationships, both externally and internally.
  • Logistics KPIs: Monitor and report on logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving action to correct issues arising.
  • Process Optimization: Ensure processes and tools are continually optimized and documented.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of staff, local or third-party support, to ensure set down area stock accuracy.
  • Field Partner Management: Ensure field partners that carry out logistics services comply with supply chain processes and procedures.
  • ERP System Requirements: Provide supply chain ERP system requirements and contribute towards user testing and implementation within the team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain and/or a field service operational environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to manage a team across multiple countries and communicate clearly in English.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate at a senior management level with suppliers and Colt Technology Services peers.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills.
  • Personal Qualities: High personal standards in terms of integrity/trust, self-motivated with inner drive and determination, flexible and proactive attitude, strong team player, good inter-personal skills to deal with all levels.
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership with good communication to set clear direction and influencing skills to drive team members to achieve objectives/goals.
  • Customer Service: Customer service attitude and skills.
Education

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, computer science, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study.
