Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Scientist to join our team in the field of quantum technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in experimental physics, engineering, or a related field, and will be responsible for conducting research and development work in the area of diamond-based quantum systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and development work in the area of diamond-based quantum systems, with a focus on CMOS-integrated sensing and quantum sensing.
- Design and implement novel integrated quantum technologies based on point defects in diamond for applications in real-world problems.
- Collaborate with a team of quantum physicists and engineers to develop and optimize quantum sensing and imaging techniques.
- Present scientific results in international conferences and write technical documentation and scientific publications.
- Contribute to the development of a PhD thesis with the results of your research.
- MSc degree (or equivalent) in Physics, Nanotechnology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Highly motivated and interested in developing novel integrated quantum technologies.
- Good understanding of condensed matter physics and previous experience in quantum sensing, integrated photonics, and/or CMOS technology would be an advantage.
- Laboratory experience with optical systems would be desirable.
- High commitment and work autonomy.
- Open to work closely with a team of quantum physicists and engineers.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English level.
