Main Responsibilities

  1. Receive and dispatch equipment and inventory in accordance with our quality standards.
  2. Assist clients with loading and unloading inventory as required.
  3. Conduct thorough checks on incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy and quality.
  4. Coordinate online freight bookings and liaise with the Equipment Lead to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  5. Support the Equipment Lead in completing external rental quotes and maintaining accurate records.
  6. Oversee the maintenance of all inventory owned by Powertech, adhering to our 'Equipment Manual' guidelines.
  7. Ensure all equipment is presented in a high standard of cleanliness and appearance.
  8. Respond to client inquiries and requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  9. Conduct regular stocktakes of all inventory items to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  10. Label and organize assets to ensure easy identification and accessibility.

Requirements

  1. Preferred qualification: Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing Operations).
  2. Valid driver's license.
  3. Proven experience in a logistics role, with expertise in freight bookings and inventory management.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and willingness to learn our in-house software system.
  7. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
