Job Description

WorldITFinder, a leading IT recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Game Designer to join our client's team.

About the Role:

  • Lead the game design process, overseeing the creation of innovative gameplay experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Creative/Game Director to develop and implement game design strategies.
  • Manage and guide a team of Game Designers, ensuring they meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain Game Design Documents (GDD) for various game systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct playtesting and provide feedback to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
  • Work closely with artists, developers, and team members to ensure project success.
  • Report to the Design Director and contribute to production planning.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Mobile and Free-to-Play (F2P) gaming with multiple shipped titles.
  • Minimum 6 years of game design experience.
  • Deep understanding of the gaming industry, market trends, and target audiences.
  • Proficiency in driving game design using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience in prototyping and shipping games with Unity or Unreal engines.
  • Strong knowledge of Game Design principles.
  • Exceptional communication skills for clear and concise documentation and feedback.
  • Attention to detail, both from technical and artistic perspectives.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative leadership style.
  • Passion for gaming and keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in game design is preferred.
