About the Role

Infor is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence development team. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software and working within a multidisciplinary agile development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with colleagues to determine daily tasks and deliverables
  • Participate in unit testing and code review
  • Stay up-to-date with modern development processes and technologies

Requirements

  • Experience with web services development using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Unit testing is a natural part of your work
  • Experience with Java development tooling (Java 17+ SDK, Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, CICD)
  • Experience with modern development processes (SOLID programming, merge requests, code review)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud application development and/or general cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark,...)
  • Knowledge of data science tools and algorithms (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Prophet,...)
