Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Product Owner to play a vital role in shaping and driving the development of our products. As a Junior Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product features and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to define product features and requirements.
- Create and maintain clear, concise product documentation using Coda.
- Work closely with our dev team to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Use prototyping and wireframing tools to translate product needs into clear, actionable designs.
- Support the execution of product launch plans and marketing strategies.
- Assist in translating user needs and business objectives into viable product tasks. Define hypotheses and validate experiments.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the product backlog.
- Actively participate in Agile methodologies, such as sprint planning, backlog preparation, and retrospectives to keep things moving smoothly.
- Assist in prioritizing and sequencing product features based on business value and customer impact. Gather and analyze user feedback to find ways to improve and innovate.
- Assist in documenting and communicating product requirements and user stories.
- Monitor and analyze product metrics and reports to identify areas of improvement. Dive into market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the game.
- Management of JIRA project tracking software.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently finished a degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Jira for task and project management and Coda for documentation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic.
- Eager to learn and adapt with a strong interest in product management and technology.
- Fluency in Spanish and English languages.
What We Offer
- A Monday to Friday schedule from 9am to 1pm.
- A hybrid internship paid with 500€ gross per month.
- A career plan, expanding responsibilities, schedule, and salary after several months (approximately 6 months) with a high possibility of offering an employment contract.
