About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury and Finance Specialist to join our team at The International Air Transport Association (IATA). As a key member of our Settlement Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute bank orders for Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) and Cargo Accounts Settlement System (CASS) funds, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Perform matching activities, monitor bank statements, and address discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Prepare Hinge Account Reconciliations and ensure accuracy, providing a clear picture of our financial position.
  • Generate external and internal reports to inform business decisions and drive financial performance.
  • Update user guides and support best practices in operations, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service for operational inquiries, providing exceptional support to our stakeholders.
  • Complete any other tasks delegated by the Senior Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in treasury or finance, with a strong understanding of financial operations and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel and Access, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills advantageous in a global industry like aviation.
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry is a bonus, but not required.
  • Key skills include customer focus, learning agility, organization, attention to detail, teamwork, and good communication.
