About the Role

Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U. - B76 is seeking a highly motivated Jr. Software Development Engineer to join our team as part of the Jr. Developer Program. As a Jr. SDE, you will have the opportunity to write real software, collaborate with experienced software engineers, and contribute to impactful deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions to solve complex technical challenges
  • Collaborate with experienced software engineers to provide guidance and opportunities for ownership on projects
  • Contribute to the development of real-world software applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field
  • Graduating between June 2026 and December 2026
  • Ability to work year-round until graduation (part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer)
  • Currently living within commutable distance to Madrid and able to work in-person at the Madrid office year-round
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or C++ including object-oriented design
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous technical internship(s), if applicable
  • Data structures, algorithms, or discrete structures coursework
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly
