About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Process Automation Engineer to join our team at Dow. As a key member of our Process Automation team, you will be responsible for supporting our Polyethylene business globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Polyethylene projects by improving process automation performance, including improvement projects, alarm management, control loop performance, and Management of Change implementation.
  • Program control applications for various distributed control systems and develop simulation applications to verify functionality and train plant operators.
  • Develop, test, and commission Process Automation software and operator interface software to meet design criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering department and P&SP business process automation resources to design and execute projects.
  • Drive project execution within your discipline and ensure that the project scope is well defined and meets business needs in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of unit operations and Chemical Engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
