Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Engineer to join our Device OS team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the design, architecture, development, and delivery of production-quality user experiences for our smart home devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software components to help Mygwork build our smart home devices, working on projects that push the boundaries of customer-device interaction.
  • Create rich customer applications while optimizing for performance.
  • Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative customer experiences.
  • Participate in designing, prototyping, and building solutions to hard problems in the Amazon ecosystem.

About the Team

You will be part of an agile development team following innovative best practices in software development. We are building the OS foundations, enabling you to interact with product teams to gather requirements, support feasibility analysis, and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Several years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Several years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
  • Several years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with React Native, UX, and UI development.
