Job Title: Payroll Configuration Specialist

Alight is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Configuration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Payroll Product organization, you will play a critical role in setting up and maintaining country payroll solutions using our Alight Cloud Pay technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of Alight's payroll solution and its technical and business aspects.
  • Support Payroll Country Owners (PCOs) in understanding country payroll requirements and configuring solutions using Alight Cloud Pay's low-code/no-code framework.
  • Test payroll configurations and updates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve payroll system issues and discrepancies.
  • Maintain and adhere to Alight Cloud Pay's best practices and standards to ensure consistency across countries.
  • Collaborate with other product teams to understand complex requirements and improve the Alight Cloud Pay framework.
  • Ensure work is tracked, reported, and managed in line with the Alight Product SDLC and DevOps process.
  • Flag and manage issues and/or risks that impact the country localization delivery plan.
  • Provide coaching and advice to PCOs and other business stakeholders on Alight Cloud Pay solution and capabilities.
  • Develop guides and documentation for Alight Cloud Pay framework capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in human resources, finance, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in payroll processing and/or payroll system configuration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Any country legislative payroll knowledge is a plus.
  • Service-oriented and proactive with a keen sense of accountability.
  • Excellent team player collaborating with various teams.
  • Self-starter and proactive with a 'how to/can do' mindset.
  • Any experience working with Azure DevOps or similar (Jira) welcomed.
  • Willingness to learn and further develop your career in a Cloud Payroll configuration and support environment.
  • Fluent in English (written, oral).
