About the Role

The Operations and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of Ferrovial's assets, overseeing and coordinating O&M activities to minimize availability losses and maximize efficiency, defining the company's O&M strategy and KPIs for monitoring plant performance. This role requires extensive knowledge of operating photovoltaic plants and high-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control Ferrovial's plant portfolios through O&M policies and programs
  • Generate reports with project KPIs
  • Create regular maintenance reports
  • Oversee subcontractor activities, negotiate contracts, and ensure contractual compliance
  • Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets (P&L)
  • Coordinate with electricity companies and public authorities
  • Manage spare parts pool to reduce plant unavailability
  • Represent company assets to stakeholders
  • Collaborate across company areas to implement lessons learned in new assets
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and legal measures
  • Knowledge of technical regulations, tests, and certifications
  • Experience with SCADA systems for data analysis of technological systems
  • Monitor contractor guarantees and work to improve asset management

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Industrial Engineer or similar with proven experience in power generation plant O&M
  • Minimum 5 years O&M management experience
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (minimum B2 level)
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
