Job Title: Vendor Manager

Amadeus Airport and Airline Operations (AAO) is seeking a skilled Vendor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple categories, managing and improving the existing supplier performance across our product portfolio, and seeking new suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Airline Operations partnership team to create a streamlined Partnership Governance program in AAO, and jointly implement the AAO Partnership strategy as defined by Product Management and Strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective partnership strategies to drive business growth and improve supplier relationships.
  • Maintain successful relationships with key partners and negotiate agreements and contracts to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, identify savings and cost avoidance opportunities, and provide support to stakeholders' needs in terms of reporting on vendor performance, spend analysis, and contract information.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align partnerships with business goals and ensure the program remains aligned to the Partner Governance Board direction.

As a Vendor Manager at Amadeus, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the industry and use it to recommend best practices, ensure improvements, and influence the strategic direction of the department. You will support the implementation of the procurement strategy and guide procurement bidding processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations across different departments.
