Position Overview

Scopely is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Senior Web Frontend Engineer to enhance our Playgami team. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of play and creativity, both in our professional environment and within our vibrant player communities. As a part of a global team of gaming enthusiasts, you will contribute to the development, publication, and innovation of the mobile gaming sector, engaging millions of players worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

  • Transform wireframe concepts into top-tier web interfaces that enhance the player experience within the Playgami Console.
  • Collaborate closely with feature owners, the Playgami Product Design (UX/UI) team, and various development teams to introduce new functionalities for our users and stakeholders.
  • Engage in the creation of Technical Design Documents and participate in code reviews to foster collaboration and constructive feedback among team members.
  • Develop automated, high-quality tests and work alongside your team and the Product Manager to guarantee the delivery of reliable software.
  • Establish and promote best practices for front-end engineering throughout all stages of development.
  • Contribute to building a robust engineering team and a positive culture.
  • Thrive in an agile setting where your insights are valued, sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues across teams.
  • Collaborate with talented peers who are dedicated to producing exceptional products.

Qualifications

  • A collaborative team player with strong communication abilities.
  • Solid foundation in computer science and engineering principles (data structures, design patterns, algorithms).
  • Proficient in writing high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Extensive experience in frontend engineering and UI development, particularly within the React ecosystem.
  • In-depth understanding of web application architecture and patterns, considering the distributed nature of such systems.
  • Experience in addressing cross-browser compatibility challenges.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal oversight while also contributing to a cohesive team environment.
