Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Homologation Product Manager to join our team at Applus IDIADA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a section with 4 teams of expert engineers, overseeing the entire business execution and development in the field of truck, tractor, and trailer homologation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of a team of homologation engineers, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies for budgeting, quotations, planning, and execution of homologation projects.
  • Supervise and conduct tests, both in proving grounds and laboratories, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and authorities to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Represent the company in commercial shows and technical conferences, promoting our expertise and services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in homologation, with at least 5 years in a team leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing engineering projects in an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including resource allocation, timing, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Qualifications
  • MSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautics engineering, or a related field.
  • Other specializations may be considered based on proven skills and experience.
Language Skills
  • High level of English proficiency is required.
  • Other languages are valued and may be considered an asset.
