DevSecOps Engineer

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevSecOps engineer to join its Digitalization team. As a DevSecOps engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and securing the infrastructure required for the seamless integration and delivery of software applications.

• Design and Implement Automated CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for software delivery, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Develop and Enforce Security Policies: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle, prioritizing security in all aspects of software development and deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Practices: Implement IaC practices using tools like Terraform or Crossplane to ensure consistency and scalability of cloud resources.
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls and best practices into the development process, ensuring secure and efficient software delivery.
• Integrate Automatic Security Tools: Integrate automatic security tools to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the security and integrity of software applications.
• Monitor for Incidents and Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Monitor for incidents and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence, ensuring the stability and security of software applications.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Trends and Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, ensuring the team's expertise and knowledge are current and relevant.

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a Related Technical Field: Possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in software development, security, and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C++, or C#, with a focus on scripting and automation.
• DevSecOps Methodologies and Tools: Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps methodologies and tools, prioritizing security in all aspects of software development and deployment.
• Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, with an understanding of how to deploy and secure infrastructure in these environments.
• Containerization and Orchestration Technologies: Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, facilitating consistent and secure deployment of applications.
• Infrastructure-as-Code Technologies: Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies like Terraform, promoting the secure and consistent provisioning of cloud resources.
• Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases, emphasizing their integration into secure DevOps pipelines.
• Data Mesh Architecture and Modern Data Stack: Exposure to the Data Mesh architecture and modern data stack, enhancing the integration of security practices within data-centric environments.
• Data Warehousing Concepts and ETL/ELT Tools: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL/ELT tools, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the process.
• Machine Learning Concepts and Techniques: Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques, enabling collaboration with data science teams on secure machine learning deployments.
• Data Visualization and Dashboarding Tools: Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Grafana, Tableau, and Power BI, facilitating data presentation and analysis.
• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, aiding in the proactive identification and remediation of issues within the infrastructure.
