Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Aide to join our team at Marriott International. As a Guest Service Aide, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing assistance with luggage and other needs.
- Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, as well as local areas of interest and activities.
- Identify and explain room features to guests, including the use of room keys, mini-bars, and other amenities.
- Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell areas.
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, ensuring that guests' belongings are safe and secure.
- Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage.
- Supply guests with directions and arrange transportation as needed, ensuring that guests arrive at their destinations safely and on time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No related work experience necessary, but a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide assistance to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
