Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team at European Satellite Services Provider. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading security activities in support of our operations and services delivered to our customers.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in IT security or information systems and networks, preferably in critical or complex systems such as space, aviation, or industry sectors. A good level of English is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the security risk management process by performing risk assessments and developing remediation plans.
- Lead the accreditation of assets, including products and facilities.
- Perform continuous monitoring of threat evolution, including advanced persistent threats (APT).
- Perform continuous monitoring of vulnerabilities based on CERT vulnerability notifications.
- Identify threats and vulnerabilities, and ensure proper contingency plans are in place.
- Define or challenge architectures in terms of security.
- Propose and implement security functions and solutions, and contribute to security projects.
- Define and maintain Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management on security aspects.
- Contribute to the Crisis Management process definition and implementation for Security.
- Ensure clear precedence rules between safety and security requirements in crisis plans.
- Define methods for conciliating/ordering safety & security constraints with the Safety team and EASA.
- Provide expertise to the benefit of European Satellite Services Provider, including participating in calls for tenders.
- Provide technical expertise in support of our operational units.
- Ensure reviews and validate within the framework of our process (changes, anomalies, deviations, etc.).
- Participate in analysis of security events and lead the implementation of mitigation/remediation actions.
- Contribute to the company's and clients' security dashboards.
- Manage potential subcontractors for the accomplishment of the activities.
About You
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our security policies and practices, specifically for our ISO 27001 certified ISMS and Security Management System supporting our ANSP certificate.
What You'll Contribute
- Promoting good security practices to our personnel.
- Ensuring a security watch, both technological and regulatory.
- Improving enterprise processes and tools for security management.
- Developing new security services, notably in terms of operational security and cybersecurity.
- Designing, building, assessing, and managing innovative technical projects for internal or external clients.
