Position Overview

The Product Manager will oversee the development and upkeep of a comprehensive product roadmap focused on data, integrations, and visualizations generated by the Serialization+ (S+) program. This role is crucial in standardizing metric definitions to enhance the efficiency of S+ data consumption across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement the product strategy for S+ metrics and dashboard solutions across Brambles Digital.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative business processes, guiding them through the transition from current to future states.
  • Create, manage, and advocate for a roadmap dedicated to metrics and dashboard production.
  • Establish a structured process for receiving change and feature requests, prioritizing them against the existing backlog.
  • Facilitate discussions around trade-offs using value metrics.
  • Educate stakeholders on the precision and uncertainty of probabilistic metrics, ensuring their inclusion in metric definitions.
  • Lead discovery initiatives to capture current and future software and business processes.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the development cycle among various internal teams and customer-facing units, guaranteeing that products meet customer needs and achieve high adoption rates.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, data scientists, analysts, and UX specialists to create and deliver effective solutions.
  • Engage with other stakeholders as part of the Serialization+ program.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software product management or senior software development within an enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading technical, quality, or support teams, with or without HR responsibilities.

  • Capability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the product space to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in drafting requirements in user story format for product teams.
  • A curiosity to explore the business landscape and make connections that enhance product development.
  • Ability to lead by influence and example, inspiring both your team and others.
  • Familiarity with software development processes to engage effectively with technical colleagues.
  • Skill in creating concise and engaging product documentation.
  • Self-driven to learn and achieve results.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Understanding of supply chain systems and processes.
  • Previous experience leading a software development, consulting, or analyst team, particularly in supply chain management.
  • Advanced degrees (MS, MBA, or Ph.D.) are a plus.
