The Role

We are looking for a talented Data Architect to join our Data and AI team. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and developing data solutions that drive business value. Your expertise in Azure will be instrumental in helping us expand our knowledge of the platform and deliver innovative data projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable in the Azure cloud.
  • Implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure tools to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
  • Create optimized data models to support advanced analytics and BI applications, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Optimize performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in pipelines and databases, implementing optimization and tuning techniques to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Automate processes by developing scripts and automation tools for data quality and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver effective, business-driven solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members in the design, development, and maintenance of Azure cloud data solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and Azure cloud, participating in training and certification activities as needed.
  • Promote a data culture within the company, encouraging best practices in data management and use for informed decision making.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in data engineering.
  • Technical expertise in Big Data and AI.
  • Ability to understand functional needs of the business.
