The Role
We are seeking a skilled Spanish Linguist to join our team as a Localization Specialist. Reporting to the Team Coordinator, this role will play a critical part in ensuring the highest quality standards in our translation workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAT tools, excellent attention to detail, and fluency in multiple languages.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform specialized linguistic services, including translation, proofreading, and quality assurance, across various verticals.
• Track and monitor translation quality, identifying potential issues and trends.
• Support the Project Management team with urgent client requests and collaborate with team members across projects.
• Mentor and assist new staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
• Create, adapt, and maintain language-specific style guides and linguistic resources.
• Drive linguistic and technical initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
• Support the preparation of documentation, guidelines, and training materials as needed.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Translation or Interpretation.
• Native speaker of Spanish and fluent in English.
