About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Res. As a key member of our Product Design team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design product experiences from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey.
- Create design systems from scratch to establish a solid foundation for all products, aligning with company values and maintaining a consistent visual language.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs, providing creative and user-centred solutions.
- Promote a UX design mindset, efforts, and methods to integrate your contributions into the overall product strategy.
- Advocate for the prioritisation of design-centred changes, refinements, and improvements.
Requirements
- Ability to influence product design strategy by understanding technical constraints and limitations.
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrated capability to design products from inception and enhance features within a user-centred design process.
- Hands-on experience in creating prototypes, design systems, and user flows.
- Proven track record of delivering quality user experiences with strong software design across various device types and contexts.
- Experience working within an agile / Scrum development process.
Qualifications
- Degree in design, psychology, business, human-computer interaction (HCI) or a related field is desirable.
- Product / UX design experience of 5+ years.
