Job Description

We are seeking a skilled UI Designer to join our team at Rocket Digital. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating, exploring, and delivering pixel-perfect digital assets from within design systems and concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to the exploration of visual styling, design languages, and usability concepts.
  2. Sketch and develop prototypes for interface designs with Figma (desktop and mobile).
  3. Have a basic understanding of complex design systems and comprehensive UX concepts as they relate to ecommerce design.
  4. Present and discuss your work with both internal and external teams.
  5. Work with lead designers and project managers to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner and exceeds expectations.

Requirements

  1. 3 or more years of experience developing UX/UI projects, including a portfolio of case studies of user experience solutions and UI design examples.
  2. Deep knowledge of mobile and web app and website design patterns and UX best practices.
  3. Top visual design skills and a portfolio that demonstrates it—with a focus on typography, composition, and look and feel.
  4. Experience designing ecommerce stores and understanding UX-related best practices in ecommerce.
  5. Ability to simplify complex problems down to simple and elegant solutions.
  6. Ability to make decisions and take ownership of your work.
  7. Comfortable with context switching and able to manage overseeing multiple projects.
  8. Native in Spanish and strong English skills.
