Job Title: Technical Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Leader to join our team at Orisha | Openbravo. As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for working with internal and external business clients to understand their requirements and translate them into value-generating technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients to understand their technical needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Use project management skills to plan and coordinate teams of developers to fulfill technical tasks within project plans.
  • Manage departmental knowledge to favor the re-use of existing information.
  • Administrate infrastructure development to enhance the scalability of the organization.
  • Refine and improve our product to develop quality services for our clients.
  • Provide development services to end clients/partners according to existing procedures.
  • Support the team as needed.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • Database knowledge/experience, POS/Retail, and/or business software applications related experience is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development with Java Platform and/or all tiers of an enterprise web application.
  • Programming concepts including MVC architecture, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
  • User Interface technologies: JavaScript and IndexedDB.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, used to working in a client setting.
