Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Supply Chain Planning team at BASF SE. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting integration requirements in our Product Family Supply Chain Planning & Visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and challenge functional requirements and implement them in SAP environments and cloud-based environments.
  • Focus on technical and integration support of existing SAP IBP implementation project.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor interfaces for different on-premise and cloud integration scenarios.
  • Implement new integration requirements, including aligning architecture decisions, setting up system connections and dataflows, and job scheduling across systems.
  • Support existing solutions, including interface monitoring, deployment of Excel Add-in and ERP Add-on, and documentation.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP IBP technical integration.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • SAP ABAP programming skills relevant for IBP integration.
  • Good understanding of security implications when setting up cloud solutions.
  • Basic Supply Chain Planning process knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud-based solutions and integration scenarios connecting via Middleware.
  • Knowledge related to Web Services, Streaming technologies, and/or API development.
