In the role of Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in verifying and validating products within our Enterprise MPN product and solution laboratory. Your main duty will be to ensure the integrity and operational effectiveness of our offerings, overseeing the process from development through to deployment. You will collaborate closely with various high-performing teams utilizing agile methodologies. Your responsibilities will include identifying defects, assessing risks, and managing dependencies, while proactively engaging with stakeholders to address and mitigate any challenges. Your background in the telecommunications sector, coupled with your expertise in mobile networks, infrastructure, and security, will be essential for success in this position. Furthermore, your capability to devise robust testing strategies, implement comprehensive test plans, and produce clear quality status reports will be crucial in advancing our projects efficiently and accurately. In essence, you will serve as the guardian of quality in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring our products consistently meet and surpass customer expectations.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance & Test Management/Delivery within the Software or Telecommunications industry, industrial applications, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure testing within physical labs utilizing equipment such as servers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Knowledge in Network/Security, including Server Management, basic Linux skills, and comfort with CLI & Shell commands, as well as familiarity with network tools like Wireshark and nmap, and performance tools such as Ixia and Smartbits.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodologies, including tools like Jira and Confluence.
