About the Role
Ansys, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our reporting team as Lead R&D Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software tools that enable our customers to extract maximum insights from their simulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, architecture, and research of projects at a technical level.
- Coordinate product design and development activities, requiring extensive analysis in areas such as user experience, software design, and solver research.
- Act as a technical reference within the team, developing and maintaining best practices through technical reviews and mentoring.
- Perform complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support across multiple products.
- Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions, collaborating with the QA/support team.
- May work with strategic customers or proxies to assess needs and develop solutions.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8 years' experience, MS with 6 years' experience, or PhD with 4 years' experience.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Python, Django, Node.Js.
- Familiarity with the W3C Web Components specifications and best practices for building interoperable and reusable components.
- Proven track record of crafting robust and efficient code.
- Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
