The Tax Accountant (Financial Analyst) is responsible for organizing and maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with taxation laws and regulations. This includes preparing and processing tax reports, as well as securing the company's tax database by storing and organizing financial documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and organizing the company's physical and digital financial records, including tax-related documents.
- Preparing, processing, and assessing the filing of tax reports, including Withholding Taxes, VAT, and Income Tax Returns.
- Assisting in renewing business permits and licenses, as well as ensuring company compliance with national and local government tax-related regulations.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing required letters and documents for tax audits.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement tax-saving strategies.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns, financial statements, and other tax-related documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrable leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop junior team members.
