Postdoctoral Researcher in Spintronics and Spin-Orbitronics

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at the CIRCE-PEEM experimental station. The successful candidate will contribute to the Eclip-SE project, focusing on spin-orbit effects in the context of spintronics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute research projects in spintronics and spin-orbitronics
- Contribute to the operation and maintenance of the PEEM instrument
- Design and perform experiments to investigate spin-orbit effects
- Collaborate with researchers at other institutes and at Alba Synchrotron
- Prepare and publish research results in top-tier scientific journals
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field
- Experience in using LEEM-PEEM microscopes and soft x-ray absorption spectroscopy
- Research experience in magnetism, spintronics, and orbital effects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The selection will be carried out through a competition-opposition system. An analysis of the curriculum will be conducted, assessing previous experience, degree, training, and other relevant professional information.
