Job Overview

As an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team, you will collaborate closely with project leaders and finance personnel to enhance the financial oversight of global projects. Your role will involve contributing to the refinement of financial systems related to project management, reporting directly to the financial controller overseeing project finances.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the initiation, execution, and conclusion of projects, adhering to the established company protocols and systems.
  • Monitor the financial performance of designated projects in line with contractual obligations, including revenue tracking, invoicing, outstanding payments, and work in progress (WIP).
  • Provide support to project managers and finance teams in maintaining effective financial controls for projects.
  • Address inquiries related to timesheets from staff members.
  • Contribute to the monthly reporting of order books.
  • Facilitate training sessions for project managers and finance staff on effective financial project management.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or accounting.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in SAP being advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, coupled with strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
