Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher to contribute to our cutting-edge research projects, influencing the development of user-centric products across our technology sector. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand research questions, synthesizing analytics, customer insight, and data to focus research, and conducting unmoderated and moderated testing/workshops, research repositories, qualitative data analysis, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand research questions and develop research plans
- Synthesize analytics, customer insight, and data to focus research and identify trends in usage
- Conduct unmoderated and moderated testing/workshops, research repositories, qualitative data analysis, etc.
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into findings and insights
- Identify competitors' strengths and weaknesses and market trends; evaluates gaps
- Own and lead initiatives within the product/project context: design thinking, discovery, requirements, stakeholder alignment, etc.
- Maintain relationships with customer touchpoint teams to ensure seamless access to customer data
- Present findings and insights to project stakeholders (verbally and visually)
Requirements
- Minimum BS (higher preferred) in one of the following: Degree program focused on the human experience as it relates to design and technology (User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, etc.) or Field(s) related to behavioral and/or social science research, including (but not limited to) Psychology, Sociology, Cultural/Social Anthropology, Political Science, and Economics (in this case, completion of UX and/or related certifications achieved within the profession is a plus)
- 5 or more years of professional experience in a research-related role
- Solid understanding of UX design principles and methodologies
- High empathetic nature and aptitude for the end user of a product
- High customer experience curiosity and the enthusiasm for digging deeper to understand why people do the things the way they do them
- Creative in thinking and analyzing information
- Solid analytical skills combined with user experience research methods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mentoring team members in research methods and best practices
- The ability to create wireframe concepts to communicate research findings
- A strong understanding of the latest trends in user experience research
