Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Purpose
To ensure the highest quality standards are met in the production process, the Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting products, identifying technical issues, and implementing quality systems and procedures to improve overall product quality and durability.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
The Quality Assurance Engineer will follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day-to-day Operations
The Quality Assurance Engineer will follow the day-to-day operations related to their job to ensure continuity of work.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to analyze part measurement results and print part specifications to ensure quality and reliability.
- Determine quality standards to set guidelines for what needs to be checked.
- Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions early on.
- Inspect product materials and electrical systems to identify defects and ensure quality specifications are met.
- Update Quality Systems with incidents, fixes, and improvements to ensure they function properly.
- Identify the root cause of technical issues to recommend suitable fixes.
- Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions to maintain an accurate record of such cases.
- Work with internal teams to improve product quality.
Continuous Improvement
The Quality Assurance Engineer will contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, taking into account international best practices, business process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
Reporting
The Quality Assurance Engineer will assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of quality to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
Safety, Quality & Environment
The Quality Assurance Engineer will comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Related Assignments
The Quality Assurance Engineer will perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. Minimum Experience: 0-3 years of experience working in Engineering-related fields.
