We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure Team at Semrush. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute manual testing plans to identify defects and improve product quality
- Analyze test results, identify trends, and implement improvements to testing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain automated tests, including API and UI testing
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Work closely with Product Owners and Technical Owners to refine project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Provide technical assistance to internal users, including troubleshooting and resolving product issues
- Identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
- 3+ years of QA experience, with a strong background in test analysis and design
- Strong knowledge of QA theory, including test automation, test data management, and test environment management
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and data warehousing
- Basic Linux skills, including bash scripting and containerization
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Experience with test automation frameworks, including Selenium and Appium
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud
- Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins and Docker
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
