About the Position

ISGlobal is seeking a highly skilled researcher in bioinformatics to join our team and work on the project "Unravelling the heterogeneity and function of monocytes in vaccination and immunity to malaria (VaMonoS)". The successful candidate will have expertise in omics analysis, particularly in single-cell RNAseq, CITE-seq, and ATAC-Seq experiments. They will also have experience in predictive analysis, modeling, and machine learning to analyze complex immunological data sets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and analysis of data generated in single-cell RNAseq, CITE-seq, and ATAC-Seq experiments in relation to malaria vaccination and infection.
  • Integration of single-cell data with immunological, epidemiological, and clinical datasets.
  • Development and implementation of predictive models to identify molecular signatures correlating and predicting vaccine immunogenicity and protection.
Requirements
  • Master's level degree in bioinformatics, data science, or a related field.
  • Expertise in omics analysis, particularly in single-cell RNAseq, CITE-seq, and ATAC-Seq experiments.
  • Experience in predictive analysis, modeling, and machine learning to analyze complex immunological data sets.
  • Advanced bioinformatics skills and programming, preferably with R.
  • Experience with database management software, including R.
