The Position
We are seeking a Product Design Manager to join our Design team. As a Product Design Manager, you will have the opportunity to help build, coach, and mentor a quickly growing and highly skilled group of designers. You will envision how people experience our products and bring that vision to life with a deep knowledge of working within a diverse team (design, engineering, and product management).
Responsibilities
- Develop designers' skills and careers
- Motivate and inspire people to do their best work
- Recruit and build product design teams
- Design complex solutions for complete digital environments
- Advocate for the customer and apply user research insights to design
- Effectively prioritize and deliver expected outcomes
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience developing designers' skills and careers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience recruiting and building product design teams
- Impressive portfolio showcasing a clear understanding of simplicity, typography, interactions, and product design
- Understanding and appreciation of design iteration and user research
- Fluent written and spoken English
