The Data Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the high standards expected by our clients. This position is vital for overseeing data processes and leading a dedicated team of Data and Business Support Analysts, ensuring the successful delivery of data products while maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role is to manage data operations and supervise a team of Geospatial Property Analysts.
The Data Operations Manager will:
- Lead and mentor a team of Geospatial Property Analysts, fostering professional development and engagement.
- Design and implement efficient data product delivery processes that meet quality benchmarks.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to streamline data integration and analysis.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on data pipelines and products to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of database technologies.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- 3-5 years of experience in managing data products and their delivery.
- Proven track record in leading and managing data teams.
- Strong understanding of data processes, including ETL pipeline development and management.
- Extensive experience with database technologies, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
- Experience in quality assurance for data products and pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to tackle complex data challenges.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Desired:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Geospatial Science).
- Familiarity with geospatial data and tools (e.g., ESRI, QGIS).
- Experience with data visualization techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
