About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our global Reporting and Analytics team within Group Investment Management. As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and insights, and developing data-driven solutions to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable the business to draw actionable insights out of complex data sets.
- Ensure the good quality of the data across our reporting tools with the performance of proper control checks and analysis of the results.
- Analysis of business requirements and translation into functional and technical solution specifications.
- Adapt or create current reporting solutions according to business needs and changes in investment accounting regulations.
- Perform impact analysis of application and data source changes.
- Collaborate with our main stakeholders (Investment Management, Finance Teams) to identify reporting needs.
- Analyze Investments data and reports and provide insights on the results.
- Continuous improvement of existing reporting processes, services, and infrastructure.
Key Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in either Finance, Economics, Information Technology and/or quantitative fields such as Statistics and Math with good academic record.
- Understanding of financial products, financial markets as well as the main accounting principles (IFRS, GAAPs).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- CFA/CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
